Using only straws, tape, and rubber bands, 4th grade students built nests, as part of their science studies. The goal was that the nest would protect the raw egg it harbored, as it was dropped from varying heights, including the balcony of the gym. A few of the eggs survived even that drop! Our new flag arrived and was installed today at the Elementary! This meant that our old, tattered flag needed to be properly retired. A small folding ceremony was held this morning in preparation.
