MCT Hercules

 

HERCULES is coming to town!! An audition will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) original adaptation of HERCULES on Monday, March 16th at 3:20PM in the Elementary Gym.  Those auditioning should arrive at 3:20PM and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

Students must have a signed permission form in order to audition. The form may be printed here or submitted digitally here.

Approximately 50-60 roles are available for local students. All students, grades Kindergarten through 12th, are encouraged to audition.  Most students will rehearse approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes each day, Monday through Friday. The performances are scheduled for Friday, March 20th.

Among the roles to be cast are the mighty Hercules, the philosophers Androcles, Socrates, Aristotle, Zeus, Hera, and Helen of Troy, the announcers Homer and Archimedes, Pegasus, Lion, the hilarious cyclops, the savvy Influencers, the competitive Olympians, and the mighty Titans. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.

HERCULES will be presented on Friday, March 20th at 6:00PM in the Elementary Gym.  There is no charge for admission, however, donations are gratefully accepted.
